Job Description

ComplyMarket is a Munich-based Startup with a focus on using AI technology to connect buyers and sellers in an online platform, ensuring a compliant supply chain while saving valuable time and effort.

We are looking for a motivated backend development intern who will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and gain real-world experience in building and maintaining web applications.

Responsibilities

Design and implement database schemas, including creating tables and defining relationships between them.
Create and maintain API endpoints that communicate with the frontend, other services, and databases.
Implement business logic of web applications, including managing user authentication and authorization, managing user sessions, and handling server-side validation.
Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks in code, optimizing database queries, and caching data.
Debug and test code to ensure that applications are free of errors and function as expected.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate the backend and frontend of web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Manage source code using Git or similar tools, collaborate with other developers, and deploy applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 1 project using Laravel and PHP or a similar technology stack.
Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework, as well as experience with backend development tools such as MySQL, Apache, Nginx, and Linux.
Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery is a plus.
Good communication skills to collaborate with other developers, designers, and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and solve problems related to the functionality and performance of web applications.
Attention to detail to ensure that web applications are free of errors and function as expected.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, trends, and best practices in web development.
